Showdown is the Texas women's club ultimate team! Our goal is to combine the best regional talent into an
elite-level ultimate team that is nationally competitive while
upholding principles of sportsmanship, leadership, and friendship. We will be competing at the 2010 WFDF World Ultimate Club Championships in Prague this season!  Showdown at the 2009 UPA Club Championships Last year, we placed 5th at the UPA Club Championships, and we hope to continue to improve on the National level while still having a blast together. Since we come from all over Texas, we rely on a high level of individual commitment, both for tournament and practice attendance and personal skill and fitness improvement. However, it's not all work! We play for the love of the game and the satisfaction of striving for the best from ourselves and our teammates on and off the field. |
